Made in Chelsea fashion round-up: Episode 1, series 5

Shall we finish the week off with a Made in Chelsea fashion round-up then? Better late than never...

I'm not sure what I thought of episode 1. The "Spencer Matthews is a meanie" thing is getting a bit tired - but I'm sure if the rumours are true and Louise Thompson really has dumped Spencer to date Andy Jordan, things will spice up nicely.

I'm not all that sure about the new girls yet (little black dresses? Zzzzzzzz) - and Ollie's girlfriend (aka Boulle's reject) looks like she's wholeheartedly acting (well, I suppose you would, wouldn't you?)

And was the nation really ready for a flash of Jamie Laing's bare butt? Answers on a postcard.

Fashion-wise, not that much to report, sadly. Let's hope things warm up as the series goes on - and here's the best episode 1 series 5 had to offer:

Millie looked cute in a simple, pale knit with an oversized necklace and gorgeous pale peach lipstick (reminds me of a shade of Revlon Lip Butter I just bought - "Peach Parfait" (no25)

You can deffo recreate Millie's look with this simple, stone garter stitch jumper from Miss Selfridge (£25 sale price)

I liked Louise's look here - the sheepskin coat is a bit unseasonal now we're heading towards warmer temperatures but the chevron print dress or tunic she was hiding underneath it was pretty nifty

The print of her dress really reminded me of a silk Fleur B shirt I have - might wear it this weekend now I've been reminded how cool it is!

Millie loves an embellished jacket and this one is a classic

Black's not quite right for spring but this gold version from Miss Selfridge (£85) is perfect for seasonal glamour Millie-stylee

If you enjoyed this post, please take two mins out of your day to nominate Fashion Detective in the style category of the Bib Awards 2013 - voting closes at midnight on April 12th 2013. Thanks!
